Waist-Hip Ratio & How To Dress For Yours?

I have no concept at all of what kind of clothes I should be wearing to suit my figure. Apparently (according to the internet, anyway..) I have a waist-hip ratio of 0.67 (24.5in/36.5in). What does this mean for the kind of clothes I should be looking for? What shapes would suit me?

Looking more for dresses, skirts, etc that would accentuate my shape than anything else, but wouldn't mind some advice in terms of what kind of tops/jeans suit the shape. I've never been a dress-wearer but really want to start, any advice would be fantastic!

Well seen as you are very slim most things will suit you, depends on your bust though if it is much bigger or smaller than your bottom half it would affect how clothes look on you i.e bust-waist-hip proportions are more important.

I've a small-ish chest (b) but my shoulders balance out my hips; roughly the same width. To me it doesn't seem as obvious that I have a small chest but it's hard to see yourself objectively enough to dress yourself well.. or at least, it is for me, I'm hopeless with fashion. :o

Well if you don't need to balance out your lower half like me (i'm pear shaped) then dressing shouldn't be that hard. You should be able to pull off body con dresses and white skinny jeans, string tops, low cut tops and mini skirts and look fab whereas if you have bigger boobs or thighs these looks can look way too sexy. So either way your shape shouldn't be preventing you wearing anything go nuts!

You are slim so almost anything will look great on you. What type of clothes do you generally like to wear? The most important thing when buying clothes is structure and how well fitted they are. Try everything on if you can. A dress with a belted waist really can give an hourglass figure. Block colours are very much in too. Look at Zara their stock is gorgeous right now
This dress creates a defined waist

A look like this would be lovely
