    From facebook:
Great news; 'Achilles' (Irish Search Dogs) has been found safe & well, but with his collar and name tag having been removed. Obviously the conscience of the person responsible got the better of them. Thank you to all who helped circulate the appeal.

    Irish Search Dogs
In response to an appeal article in todays Evening Echo a kind gentleman by the name of Rory Owens reunited 'Achilles' with his heart-broken owner at 1:45 today. This once again highlights the ongoing problem of dogs being stolen in Ireland. This puppy was just left out in the back garden which has high walls all around at 11pm to relieve itself before settling down for bed, 20mins later he was gone.

It seems dogs are "going missing" here only to suddenly find themselves quickly sold, with the micro-chip in many cases being erased and re-programmed with new data.
The culprits are apparently going to come as a Huge shock to many(i.e the last group of people you would expect to be involved with this sort of thing), when a case shortly finds its way to court.
