Exam results

Does anyone know when the exam results will be published for first year Higher Certificate in Business?

Also, when are the repeats taking place?

On my calendar for general results release, it's 15th June at 2pm. Repeats are around 20th-30th of August thereabouts every year (never had one though )

Are results sent out via mail on the 15th, or is that they day they become available online?

Any idea when the college mail them?

That's day they are available online. Post happens after that, mid-to-late June.

Don't suppose the college will deliver my results to a different address if I ask?

They're usually sent to my dad's address but he's away for the summer and left no keys, so would like to get them posted to my own.

Rang up the SID and they sorted it in a few mins Huzzah!

Droden you'll have to get up and catch the postman every morning (I had to do it last year). It's not fun Or maybe you could bribe him.

Nah Drodan no need to wake up each morning like some crazed post ninja.. focused on his mission ;D.

Call local post office that your postman comes from, tell them to hold all post with your name on it... and give them mobile number.. They'll call any time a letter with your name comes in, and ask if you want it held onto until you turn up to collect it.

Fortunately haven't needed to resort to it myself ;D

haven't got mine yet..
but a lad I know got his today.. so maybe it's a batch each day.. right pain in the arse waiting for them.

I still haven't finished paying my fees. When I get payed from robotics I'll finish it. will I get mine in the post or not? couldnt get them online when they came out

I'm just getting worried as isn't the cut off line for applying for repeats soon or something?

Also actually I wonder if this has happened to anyone else. I failed an exam in first year, carried it on into second year (which I ended up repeating, only a couple of modules though) and was granted compensations and continued on. Online apparently I was meant to sit it again (didn't pay for it) and got a NP or something, not present I assume. I guess I'm going to have to do it again in August yes?

ring the exam office and its the quickest way to find out whether you have to repeat or not
