From Northern Ireland- International Student or Not?

Title says it all really. I'm considering applying for a doctorate at TCD and want to know if I would be classes as an international student or not because I live just over the border in Northern Ireland. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The only distinction that matters for students is "EU" or "non-EU". You would be classed as an EU student, of course.
