    hi all

im wondering if this will be allowed on a plane.

im flying on a ryanair flight and am going cycling. i have one bag booked for taking in the hold. i will be taking panniers, like these

    http://s.wiggle.co.uk/images/ortleib-bike-pacr-09-zoom.jpg (large file)

what i was planning on doing was binding them together with bungee cords and wrapping it in clingfilm, to prevent theft of anything, as there is no way to lock them (the cling film will also prevent the airline from seeing it is two individual pieces). the whole thing will be under weight, that wont be an issue.

has anyone done this before and do you think i would get away with it?

    thank you

They look pretty big, will they be under the size specifications of Ryanair?

Other than that, I can't see it not working.
