    Hi All,

I enrolled on a par-time course last year under the new government education scheme introduced to get people back to work. my query is this. I left after the first year due to getting an offer on a level 8 degree course.
at the time i was told by the department of education and the citizen advice that i would be eligable for the student tuition fees regardless of undertaking the first year of the par-time course. just to add this was a level 6 course.

now i am been told that i have to pay the fees myself . i have only been told this at the end of the year which i am a bit annoyed over . does anyone know do i have to fund the college fees myself or due to the fact the i am progressing should I receive full fee payment . i am a mature student on the BTEA.

tuition fees are 2300 , is this the average charge for a full semester? seems a bit high?

    any help appreciated
