I've got the 1987 edition of Ruff's Guide To The Turf. It has all of the results for UK and Irish Flat racing for that year if that's any good to you? If you're looking for the form of a particular horse I could get it for you.

Think nine letters of your Username are about to become redundant lol.

OP if you know the race any chance your local bookie would have a record somewhere?

    Hilarious.

My quip was quite relevant to the state of irish racing at the moment. I didn't realise this forum was so strict and serious.

Actually, I think you've got a point there. That's why I never bet in Irish handicaps or maidens. I only ever stick to Group races on the Flat or Graded races in the National Hunt. I knew an old man a good few years ago who always used to say "Never bet on Irish racing, it's full of trickies". His words of wisdom have served me well over the years.

I'd agree, just look at the betting market, form means little. Check out J A Heffernan pretending to use his whip on Ajiaal in the 5.25 at the Curragh yesterday. The form book will read ''rear of mid-division, ridden into moderate 10th 2f out, no impression and kept on one pace'', by looking at the the race he just wasn't off.
