marlin 917 stock

    Does anyone know where i can get a wooden thumbhole stock for a marlin 917 i have looked on the net and all i can find is the tacticool stock from boyds which looks good but i really want a thumbhole and i know there are plenty of lads i could get a custom one made by but was hopin to pick up one i can just bolt on straight away.<br />

    Have a look at www.rifle-stocks.com
    You may still have to do some fitting, sanding and finishing though.

    talk to <snip> i got mine through him and it worked out much the same cost as buying shipping customs etc myself
    if you order from the states make sure they will actually ship to ireland some of the lads have got stocks from stockys stocks and boyds but when i and a few others have tried they have refused all down to their homeland security clampdown i also a few have had problems with customs here

    spoke to <snip> today and he is up to his eyeballs in work but told me when i drop down to collect my rifle he will look at my marlin as he might have something to fit it in the shop.

    www.rifle-stocks.com will post to Ireland.
    Boyds will also post to Ireland but wont post stocks that cost more than 100 dollars.
    Stockys wont export at all.
