    As far as I'm aware there is no Students' Union-endorsed Straight Edge Society on campus. Where did you hear about there potentially being one?

    Nah, so such ociety unfortunately! Would have been a good one. We had a Gentlemans Society briefly, but it only survived a year

    I believe there was the odd cane and monacle knocking around alright!! It was primarily wine sipping iirc!!

    Yes... quite.

    No society can be specifically exclusive or sexist, i.e. in that its title specifies which gender you must be to join. However, exclusive (or near-exclusive) interests of any single gender can be catered for. My solution to this, which I never got time to get ratified was...
