I'd suggest getting in touch with the cregg agency- they supply staff for factories. money is good, but they have the right to terminate your contract as it suits them. on saying that i know people with 3 years+ on this type of contract.

i work in a major multinational here in galway and there's been non stop overtime for the last 6 months minimum- new faces all the time.

there is a company called c and f tooling who were advertising jobs in athenry in galway a couple of weeks back. only thing is i applied for a job with them and never heard anything back and i havent seen any more jobs advertised with them since but might be worth a shot, heard that they had expanded the size of their factory

I have worked in c & f tooling before and can tell you you will have to wait quite a while to hear back. they receive a lot of applications. the company is growing larger now with there windmill production and should be hiring even more in the near future. the work is tough and the pay isnt spectacular but you have to start somewhere
