MLB - interleague betting

    Interleague starts tonight in the MLB.
    This is usually a period of American League dominance, look to back the stronger AL teams (particularly the AL east teams playing at home):
    Boston
    NYY
    Toronto

    Also look for:
    Detroit playing a weak Pirates team
    White sox (terrible record but are 7-3 in the last 10) against a struggling Dodgers side

    Alot of the other match-ups are very tight, although Cleveland seem dominant at home and could take 2 out of 3 against the Reds

    Match betting on Baseball sucks ;)

    Run totals, First team to score & 1st innings totals are the 3 main (and prob only) markets a baseball bettor should be focusing on. The latter really is easy pickings if you follow MLB

    8-10 has a log in the challenges/log section. He has good knowledge and worth interacting with. Apart from him, no one esle in this section really has interest in MLB

    I have a few bets on MLB most weeks. Normally do a bet on short priced team. Cappersmall.com is a good forum for tips on baseball and other American sports.

    FWIW there were 42 interleague games this weekend, 21 wins for AL sides and 21 for NL sides!

    I always find it harder to call interleague and generally stay away although there is definitely value if you follow closely and I did get lucky this weekend in a couple of games. It's good fun though! Wish the Cubs series wasn't on so late each night but Indians were great to watch and I caught a couple of the subway series too as I'm trying to see more of the Mets this year because it's the girlfriend's team and I'm going to CitiField in a week and a half!
