    Hi

Wet cleaned my 5d2 with visible dust vdust plus but its left two (very) small dried fluid stains. They show up at f/16 to f/22 which is where i do some of my landscaping.

Down to one swab left and dont want to chance this fluid again as it took 3 of the 4 swabs to get it that good.

Having trouble getting my hands on eclipse fluid and type 3 swabs. Some retailers on amazon but are charging crazy rates for postage to ireland

Any tips where to get it

Here is where I get my stuff, The swabs are there too for the different size frames (just make sure you get the type 3 swabs).
Swabs aren't perfect especially for the edges of the sensor where you stop the motion of wiping so if you get some good quality (johnsons) cotton buds you can get rid of the stains fairly easy, you just have to make sure not to put too much force or you could cause damage. It seems that it is easiest to get rid of the stains when the cotton bud is just a tiny bit damp from eclipse (as in has nearly dried) or when you put a few drops on the cotton bud you use it to clean the smears and then while there is still residue that is wet you use the dry side of the bud and it should clean off easy.

I hope this helps, it is hard to describe the technique and sometimes you get a perfect clean with just the swabs but it can vary.

    Edit:
The prices have risen a lot since I needed to buy last time and after looking on amazon it seems cheaper there tbh.

Thats exactly the problem I get... you end up with a spot or two where you have to stop moving the swab.

Complete pain in the ass to get them all.

Thanks for the link... swabs are a complete rip off too ;)
