Feel Good Factor from royal / Obama visits?

    Has anyone else noticed a feel good factor this week from the royal visit? Possibly another lift from Obama's visit next week?

    Will it be the spending kickstart we've been looking for?

    Both online and in our stores, we've seen higher than normal figures on Tuesday / Wed & Thurs.

    People are talking about it, they're proud of how it gone, they're in great humour and they're spending. Maybe we've realised what a great little country we are and a bit of badness from bankers can be got over and its time to move on.

    Just my thoughts on it!

    Yeh I think you might be right. Feel like that myself. Was out for a meal last night and the restaurant was packed!

    Interesting you raise the point. Just been in Douglas Court SC and it's busiest I've seen it in ages.
