electronics ballasts

    what can be done with scrap electronics ballasts, was cleaning out my neigbours shed that he been renting out for the last couple years and the last guy left a few hundred scrap electronics ballasts and normal ballasts can they be sold for scrap and what kinda prices could be got...

    we get alot of them back and they go to the crowd that lift our spent lamps. i dont think there is a market for that type of scrap cause they are mostly a pcb with a small ammount of recyclable metal, unlike the older switch start ballasts which are all metal and weigh a ton.

    anybody know how much id get for 10 of these????

    they are high tension transformers for neon lights, they weight a ton and im wondering if they have much of a scrap price?
