Anyone else here have problems with Push Notifications, I recently upgraded to 4.3.1 and maintained by baseband of 01.59.00 using sn0wbreeze. Since then I have not been receiving any push notifications. I have tried to use Push Fix but that didn't work and also tried using SAM Prefs but that doesn't seem to work either.

    anybody any ideas??

    regards

Jailbreak again but use redsn0w. Just run if over Sn0wbreeze. Your baseband will stay as 01.59.00. I did it a couple of weeks ago.
SB uses custom firmware and RS uses stock firmware. You might still have the stock firmware on your pc as you would have needed this to make the custom firmware with SB.
When you run RS, uncheck install cydia as you already have it and reinstalling cydia will cause all you packages that ate installed nit to show up in the packages list.

Not saying thus will defo work bug it'll put you on proper apple firmware and still leave you unlockable using ultrasn0w 1.2.3.

Let mx know what you think.

so Jarvis let me get this right, just use redsn0w instead and use a proper ipsw instead of the custom one??? will this def preserve my baseband?? and also if I untick "install cydia" and it does a new installation of my firmware then how will I get cydia onto my device?

Mods, I realise this has spilt into jailbreaking territory, please move if necessary.

    Apologies

As l as you don't upgrade and stay on the firmware you are in you'll be fine. If you wanna go to 4.3.3 do it with SB and use custom again. Once you are on the firmware you are happy with just follow the instructions above with RS. when you are doing it, don't have iTunes open, you are not updating anything you are just re jailbreaking.
This is what I did and I'm using an iPhone 4 on 4.3.3 with bb 01.59.00 as I depend on ultrasn0w unlock.
I tell you what, if you do it and your baseband updates I'll post you a gevey sim.

Jarvis, finally got this sorted, update to 4.3.3 and used SAMPref to fix push notifications. thanks again for your advice.
