I drove a lefty for a couple of years no probs whatsoever. As long as you don't intend to do a lot of overtaking on national roads and stick to the motorways/towns/suburbs they're absolutely fine.

No idea wtf a Goggomobils is.

I don't see it as an issue anymore tbh - certainly didn't affect Smart or their ability to market their cars in the UK.

I'd buy one. (lhd, that is, not a Goggomil :) )

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

I had a few left hookers and liked them, spose just for kinkiness.

My friend, who has never dumped anything in his life had a gogomobil some thirty years ago, plan was to put the engine in a motorcycle, never got around to it.

LHD had a few issues/problems - all liveable with I suppose!

Insurance... might not affect a classic.

Overtaking... maybe not an issue in a small classic... but you may need to go around tractors and parked cars, negotiate blind corners on country lanes.

Car Park barriers - okay if you have a passenger or can shuffle over.

    Toll booths - see above

MacDonalds Drive thru' - see above (Did you know that Tralee has the frst 2 lane drive thru in Ireland?? I read that somewhere).

Not an issue except with passing on national roads, tolls, etc. Herself is usually with me in the car so that sorts out the tolls and when stuck behind something on national roads she'll bellow 'Go! Go! Go!' as soon as she sees a gap!
