Automatic bypass on Baxi Megaflo

    Hi,

I have a Baxi Megaflo 24KW HE IE boiler.
I have noticed that the bypass pipe seems to have flow through it when running the heating system (internal boiler bypass pipe gets immediately as hot as the flow pipe).
The bypass pipe comes from what looks like a flow-switch on the lefthand side of the boiler. This flow-switch makes a micro-switch mounted beside it every time the boiler starts.
It does not make much sense to me that a modulating boiler would effectively partially short-circuit itself when it has a load.

    Is this normal?

    Thanks,
    Vertical
