    Hi smile.gif

Me and my friend are planning on inter railing for two weeks this summer, starting in Paris and going to Amsterdam, Prague, Brussels and Berlin. I am wondering is it safe for two girls to go inter railing alone with regards to hostels etc? It has me slightly worried as Ive never stayed in hostels before so I'm not sure what to expect.confused.gif All feedback greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!! wink.gif

I don't know so much about Prague (only cos I've never been so I can't tell ya), but Brussels, Paris, A'dam and Berlin will have the same risks as any big city (Dublin included). In Brussels and A'dam you shouldn't have too much trouble, they pretty much all speak english. You'll find a lot of English speaking people in Paris too (just depends on whether they will talk to you or not). Berlin is a cracking city too, so you should be fine there!

Make sure you stick to hostels that have a good reputation. In lots of hostels you can get private rooms too for good prices. In lots of those cities you can get good cheap clean hotels for the same price as a hostel, so make sure you check them all out.
