They are all 100% reliable regardless of age mileage and condition.;)

    But seriously.

You need to pick a specific model to get any kind of idea. And more importantly, you should base any decision you make on the specific car in question. Even the most reliable car, if it's been abused will cause headaches.

Out of all the cars you could have chosen for 2.5k, that's the one you're curious about, seriously?

My father bought a 1.4 Lanos new in 2000 and has had it since. He's quite seriously one of the worst drivers I've ever experienced. He's only ever got it serviced, got the timing belt changed once (something like €150 at main dealer) and the rear view mirror keeps falling off. And because he's now retired and barely uses it (a couple of 1 mile journeys each week) the battery doesn't get charged as much as it gets discharged, so he's had to get jumped a couple of times.
Other than that, despite being like a tin can to drive, its been 100% reliable.

So if the OP is retired, an awful driver and drives just 2 miles per week, then you highly recommend him a Daewoo? :D
