I was checking the level of home heating oil in my tank and noticed a pipe lying on the bottom of the tank. Managed to get it out and don't know if it came with the tank or not. Its about 3ft 6" long with a brass fitting at the end that something can thread onto. I'm guessing it has something to do with a oil level guage?
