Looking at driving to Japan through Russia and China next summer.
Just wondering anyone now where i can get car insurance for such a trip. Finding it difficult to source it anywhere.
I'm driving a 71 series Toyota Land Cruiser.

Probably better off searching some of the UK forums. i know that sounds a bit vague but you will probably get more info from them.

You can buy border insurance for Russia at any of it's borders. It is not cheap.

China will be very difficult as permits have to be arranged in advance.

Through EU you can easily drive on Irish insurance.
Try avoid going through Ukraine or Belarus.
As it was said, you can buy border insurance in Russia.
    I don't think it's expensive.

I have no clue thought about China or Japan.

Yes, you can simply buy some insurance for Russia at the border.

My insurance covers me for Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The advantage of a full green card. ;)
