Omeaga Air Crash

Just saw pprune that an 707 refueling plane belonging to Omeaga Air has crashed while taking off in California. The plane was full loaded, but all three crew managed to escape with minor injuries. Reports suggest it may have been an rejected take-off. Is'nt Omeaga owned by the MacEvaddy's.

Yes it is.

They also had a 707 crash back in 1990.

They attempted to fly a half stripped 707 and this was approved by the FAA!? :eek:

Glad to see the crew of this latest incident got away relatively unscathed. Judging by the photos the jet completely exploded. You wouldn't expect a good outcome from a crash involving a fully laiden tanker.
