Missing Documents

    Hi everyone,

    I sent a large envelope containing original documents to citizenship tipperary in January and I followed up a week after and I was tole they had a backlog and so it was not coming up on the system.

    I called several times, same thing. In March I was told it's up but I have to wait for acknowlegement in d post. I travelled for Easter and since I got back, I ve spoke to 5 people and they cannot find it. They want me to send a new one as they claimed they never received anything from me.

    The least i can say is that I am devastated. I cannot get some of the docs again and some will take months to process. An post is what Ive used for d past 10 years and I just do standard post and my mails always get delivered so I had no reason to register d mail.

    I believe strongly that my docs got mixed up in citizenship but I have no way of getting around this problem.

    Please I will appreciate all your help. I have cried and cried and I just don't know where to start from.

    Please HELP!

    I note that you were told that the application is "up" on their system when you spoke to them. If that is the case, I would write to the Citizenship section and request confirmation that it was received and that they no longer have it. Put everything in writing.

    In future you should send all original documents by registered post and keep copies.
