Best Android for video recording

    Hi,

    I'm in the market for a new phone and I want to move away from my iphone. Which android phone is good for recording vids.

    I have been looking at reviews and the HTC incredible S looks great but some reviews said it performs bad in poor light.

    Any users out there ?

    If you want full HD recording, currently only Samsung Galaxy S 2 supports it and one of the latest Lg phones, as far as I'm concerned.

    Anyway, both of them have latest hardware so I would also presume it's a good idea to invest in any of them, as long as you want latest Android upgrades.

    LG Optimus 2x does 1080p.

    The Sensation will too, plus it's got stereo sound recording. There's also a couple 3D recording ones coming out too.

    Depends what your budget is / bill or prepay / how exactly you're gonna be using the recorder

    Really just want it for everyday recording, nothing too fancy. Plus not too expensive. I know its always a trade off between functionality and price.

    I saw some sample recordings from the HTC Incredible S at 720 HD, but it was very choppy and poor IMO.

    Id love the samsung but I was wondering if there was one cheaper but with good recording. Sometimes its difficult to simply read the specs and see which performs better as I think sometimes its down to the actual implementation of the the software/hardware of the phone.

    Desire HD?

    "Not too expensive" really isn't a ballpark when we dunno if you're talking sim free or not. If Sim free, the Desire HD, Incredible S etc are about the same price as the LG 2x, so the 2x would be the better choice.

    WOW, just looking at the LG, looks very nice. Hadnt seen that phone before. Looks like thats what Im after wrt recording. Reviews very positive for the recording :)

    Looking at sim free but I might be willing to go bill if I couldn't get one at right price.

    This LG has great quality of videos, right now almost every phone with 2 cores will be able to record fullHd movies.
