And did you stick to them? Personally, I didn't make one as I just think it's the worst time of year to make any sort of major change - too many people doing the same thing creates an inevitable atmosphere of acceptable failure. So, those of you who did - how did you get on?

My new years resolution was 1024×768 and is still going strong!

I've only ever made one new years resolution, and that was not to make new years resolutions. I've pretty much stuck to that down through the years.

    GO ME!!!!

Why would anyone feel the need to make a resolution on new years? Surley if it important enough, you should make it any time of the year.

Stop drinking so much on nights out. Whats the point of going out at all if you won't remember most of it?

To lose weight and get a bit of muscle. few blips where it went back up along the way but 2 stone lighter so far overall.

I made a new years resolution to do more time-travelling, but I haven't had the time to get around to it yet....

Don't you worry. Your time will come.

I forgot about my resolution until you reminded me just now. It was to be way more awesome than I already was. Probably the best resolution I have ever made. I also gave up 'not being very awesome' for lent. Right now, I can honestly say, that I have completely and single-handedly failed.

Drive a Renault 5 to the summit of Mt Everest
    Learn 4 new languages
    Accumulate 1 billion euros
    Spend 2 billion euros
Swim the english channel with the Renault 5 tied to me

Not going well so far, expecting a strong finish to the year though
