None of them, none represent my views. Independent for the win.

Same here, most of the TD's I prefer are independents! Stephen Donnelly and Shane Ross to name a few

I think I would be a member of the Christian Solidarity Party.

Failing that I might set up my own Scientology Party....

Some kind of UKIP for Ireland. Europe has clearly become more like Ireland in terms of it's corruption and cronyism.

People will hate me for saing this but Fine Fáil.

Labour despite being a left party are which I found out comically and recently are the conservative party of Ireland which debated not long ago about how gay rights were wrong in their youth wing.

FG while they have some good people their youth branch in my uni are...well yeah I can say anythin good and in general I dislike thier "Nda" Leadshership".

Even though people scream that FF are the party which destroyed this country
I find them to be the only political party I can both accept and relate too.I am not drawn to it as of family connections and as some boards people may say I'm not an idiot but this seems to be the only party too truly change and from what I've heard of the youth branch they've actually implemented changes to improve the whole party politics fiasco. Also They are the only Centralist party in the country so i'm more leaned to that type of political allegiance as well.

Now too see what Insults or abuse I get :pac:

I'm a hypocrite and i say whatever suits my own selfish needs. I disagree with people for the sake of it and have many times tried to convince others that black is indeed white.

Sinn Féin would be perfect for me.

I'm not saying that you are an idiot, but from what I can gather (your post is almost indecipherable), you support a party whose name you can't even spell... simply because they are, in your opinion, the only "Centralist" party in the country. You say that people "scream" that Fine Fáil (sic) destroyed the country. Do you disagree with those people? I suggest you read a newspaper before answering that question, because your answer could potentially result in accusations of idiocy.

Dude by all means I can see why people would blame said party for such actions and in any cases yes they were responsible. But then again you have to be reminded of the fact that this was a global ression and not only this but both lab and FG had similar policy's and at the time FG even gave out about the gOv not spending enough.

And yes they are the only centralist party. Can you name another party in the country that is?(FG "right",Lab" ConsLeft",Sinfein "Nat Left",ULA "far Soc Left".

Now it 4am and I am a slight bit "Intoxicated"(Rings Cowen bell :pac:).I just read over my post there and its quite embarrassing but then again I stand by it.I didnt vote for them in the last election, may not in the next(Depending on the party proposals and next candidates)but they are my more favored part in the "most" recent of times. It may be a controversial thought on boards but thats how I feel.

My drunken student self is showing great things for that party heh

Edit-Look I'd rather not get into a FF argument atm,but if any has to arise it'd be the part allegiance one(For all partys)

A Social Democrat party in a coalition with a Green Party

This type of goverment has worked very well across
Europe and extremly well in some cases, Germany, Norway,
    Holland and so on.

The Labour party here is left of centre making them
roughly equivalent to the Social Democrats.

In 1996 the then Labour party coalition in Norway set up their
pension fund which stands at ~500 Billion Dollars today

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-11571650

    On balance

I do believe political parties shift idealology unnoticed
    by the majority over time.

The US Supreme court, Republicans and Democrats have all
noticibly shifted to the right since the 80's.

It was a Republican administration under Nixon that set up the EPA
and it was a Republican administratio under Bush that exempted
fracking chemicals from mointoring by the EPA.

I haven't been a supporter of Fianna Fail since I could vote
but once they did hold Social Democrats values
notably under Lemass, founded succesful companies of the
future at that time, helped modernise and raise peoples
    standard of living.

These ideads may have been suggested by the Fine Gael
and Labour parties of the time but not adopted till Whitaker
was influential enough and Lemass was Prime Minister

    Nevertheless they were adopted.

So your choice and the beliefs of your chosen party now are
only for now; being a supporter of FF or Republicans in the past
shouldn't condemned you to political death
