Just wondering is their anything i can connect off it or a signal off it for any free tv?

You could buy yourself a Freesat receiver and connect the cables left behind (assuming there are cables inside the house) to get all the Freesat channels, including HD ones (if your TV handles HD).

    Check out http://www.freesat.co.uk/what-you-get/our-channels
to see what channels you could get

Ther'e no doubt that a freesat box is the best way to go for Free UK channels. Other options include a lower cost free to air satellite receiver. Drawback of free to air box is that the EPG is limited (now and next) but as I say if budget is limited, then might be worth considering. Plugs in the same as the freesat box and if it was a dish set up to receive sky, no replagnment needed.

Other option might be to get a digital tv & satellite tv combo box. Can get the free Irish and UK channels on one box. You would needed to add an aerial and additional cabling to your set up. Lots on the market and some threads here discussing the various available.

NB - its Freesat you are looking for NOT Freeview.

Sat comes from satellite dish, view comes from roof top aerial in the UK.

A basic Freesat receiver will only set you back £30 in the North.

By the way, how many cables are coming in from your dish? When it gets inside is it a single cable or does it split into 2? If its the latter, then you are able to hook it up to a Freesat+ recorder, which will act like Sky+ and allow you to record/watch channels while others are recording etc.
