If I were to get the 1605 airlink, would traffic leave much time to spare getting to Heuston for 1725 train? Cheers

you should make it.
I had a similar fret one day trying to make a train slightly earlier than that, but the bus took the port tunnel and then bus lane all down the quays and made it from the airport to Heuston in a half hour.
