    Hi,

I am looking for a different wedding venue and I am very interested in the Middleton Park but I am concerned about the numbers it can hold, they tell me they can hold 240 with the new extension but I dont want people cramped, im also concerned about the dancing area in the main reception hall, does it work or do people filter off to other areas e.g. bar and reading rooms?

If anyone has been at a wedding for about 200 people please fill me in. We plan to have 200 sitting down for dinner.

    Thanks
    P

i haven't bben theree but i always think its a risk if there are too many places people can filter off to. can affect the atmosphere if people are all over the place..

I seriously doubt it can hold 240. You should be ok with your 200 but your not going to have loads of space. Get them to put that in writing before you book
