    Thanks for the tip.
Customs are being right Nazis lately- though, of course all they're doing is implementing the rules and regulations :(

I presume its the post above yea?? It's just a phrase, customs aren't actually kitted out in full Nazi attire and adopting their policies, you might want to chill out a bit.

What value must the total order (including shipping) be to avoid customs duty? Is it still €22? I can't find what I'm looking for on www.revenue.ie

As a Nazi, I find that comment very offensive.

What happened to that mooted increase in the amount you could spend before you were liable for customs (up to something like €100, I thought)? Was it dropped again?

That was for import duty, and it's €150. VAT exemptions remain at €22 for a purchase and €45 for a gift.

Anyone know if a Blu-ray player can be hacked to be multi-region like most normal DVD players?

whoa thats a little harsh. event horizon is not a great flim but resident evil more than makes up for it.

thats the comment that upset you right? i mean i could not see anything else in this thread to get upset about

event horizon is not a great film but resident evil more than makes up for it.

I quite liked Event Horizon, but yeah, the studio watered down the director's vision of it.
The original directors version was supposed to be way better, and more scary,
but alas, the studio paniced and destroyed all that footage after release.

So sadly, we'll never see a director's cut of Event Horizon.
