Hey everyone,

To cut a long story short, I am scared I am pregnant. My period is 5 days late. However, all the times I have had sex since my last period (2 times) a condom has been used and boyfriend has not ejaculated inside of me. So, in my mind I know it is unlikely that I am pregnant, but I can't help thinking what if?!
They only thing I can think of that may be affecting my periods is, about 5/6 weeks ago, I was very sick and on a high dose of steriods for about two weeks. My steroid dosage was gradually decreased over the following two weeks, so in total I was on them for approx a month. I have been off the steriods about 2 weeks now. While I was taking the steroids I got my period on time but it was lighter than ususal. I presumed this was to do with the steroids. However, now I'm thinking, if I got a period while I was taking them, why would I suddenly not get one now that I am finished them! I have heard that steroids can affect menstruation but I thought this was only if they are taken long term..
I'm not looking for medical advice, just wondering if anyone has been in a situation like this before?!
