how to make charm bracelet??

    hi there.I'm a regular poster on boards but am in hiding as it's a surprise for someone:D. does anyone know what size jump rings and what size bracelet i'd need.i'm completely new to this so any help would be great..thanks:)

    This is just from google, but you can buy the stretchy charm bracelets that have jump rings attached already so that u can just add the charms.. or the ready made bracelets.. I don't make many charm bracelets myself, but it really depends on the size of chain u are using for the size of jump rings. I'd use maybe 4 or 5mm they are never a waste so buy some in sizes from 4-6mm and see what looks best, u will use them up eventually in other projects..x

    ive only ever made one - how many jump rings needed will depend on the length of the bracelet and the length will depend on the wrist. its always a good idea to measure the recipient or guess based on their build. nothing worse than getting a fab bracelet onlfy for it to not fit because youre big boned....

    another thing that would affect how many jump rings you need is what clasp you use. a t bar toggle thing, crab claw etc or if you use streatchy threading instead.

    best thing to do is - go with one size you chose. if you havent a bead board (theyre usually marked) keep a ruler handy and keep in mind the size of the clasp
