I love this gun. However I am having issues with getting a full days gaming out of her. Most of my batteries are old but well maintained so It's most likely down to that.

So I was wondering does anyone know what is the largest 9v NiMh that can be easilly fitted in to the handguard.

Not going LiPo, for one thing I don't fancy having to get a new charger for one gun.

How long are your gaming days?

I use a 9.6v 1500mah nunchuck battery which fits and works fine. If it was a very long skirmish day then it might die towards the end of the day but I always have an 8.4v battery spare on me.

Its not necesserily the gun, it can also be how trigger happy one is. Many bbs = short battery life.

Can fit upto a 9.6 2000mah nunchuck inside the handguard if one tries.

I carry spares. It's a pain but there you go. The average skirmish day for me would be about 10-4.

I'd be surprised if I used 750 during the course of a day. Depends on the role, but 500-750 is a good average. Probly get through a mid-cap and a half per game. It's a wonder why I bring more than one mag.

I'll go and order a 9.6 nunchuck early next week. #Firstly, they are cheap enough, and secondly a spare battery is never wasted. Thanks for the info.

I've an APS ASR 102 with a 1600MaH 9.6v NIMH battery and I'd never get a full day out of it. It's pretty heavy on juice. Maybe the EBB uses a little more juice then yer normal Non EBB gearbox.
My SRC M4 seems to go for ever on the same battery.

    Cheers for that.

So I'm off to buy a nice new soft hopup then. - To tell you the truth, I get about 50M range out of it as is. But the Hopup is all or nothing. I'ld like a little more control over it.
