What parts are worth keeping on Fiat Brava to cover the cost of scrapping it ?

Also how do you get rid of a car that ain't mine if I can't find the licencing cert ?

It's a 97 and kept conking out despite many trips to garage. Will usually jump start but not always (on one occasion it was two flat batteries and another recharge ) altenator voltages seemed OK. Sometimes took 20 seconds of cranking.

Checking online it could be one of several problems but none were worth looking at as expensive parts / lots of labour and no guarantee that nothing else was wrong - car is beyond economic repair.

I've still got the Red Key , and from what I can tell there is no point in keeping the ECU thingy since you can reset them to pick up the next key. Does it need to be a complete set of locks/ignition or is it worth bothering ?

Electrics, I reckon the damp has got to them while it off the road, it's a FIAT after all.

You could sell parts before scrapping it, but I can't imagine anything's actually worth keeping.

Have a look here for parts that might be wanted!

Scrappage won't cost you anything. Most scrapyards will come to your door to collect your car (on a flatbed) for free!

Didn't think so but was asking on the off chance.

Didn't want to put up adds on spec.

some scrap collectors will give you up to 40 euro for it,depending on the current price of scrap, which is 140-170 euro per tonne now.

Ya, and if it's running enough to get you there you'll get more if you drop it in yourself OP. They'll charge for disposing of tyres, battery, oil but you'd come out with 100euro ish from a metal recycling place

You mean drive there? The car's been off the road, so it probably hasn't tax, test or insurance. Only a fool would drive it to the scrappy. You might make a little money if you have a mate with a flatbed or if you're a member of the AA though, I'll grant you that :D
