    No thread already

Jeff Overton 60's (scoring average of 66.63 on this course makes him a prime contender)

Boo Weekley 280's (playing sh1te but course suits his game, could return to form this week)

Kenny Perry 210's (went off 40/1 for this event last year, scoring average of 69 from 21 appearances in the event)

Also adding Tim Petrovic 600's Kyle Stanley 400's

Title change to include other events this week.

In the US I've gone for..

    Z Johnson @ 20/1
    Garcia @ 33/1
    Overton @ 50/1
    Love III @ 70/1

Nothing on the Euro tour really interests me at present.

Congrats to anyone with a winner over the past few weeks. Been busy and looking forward to a break from the footy!

In the golf this week, accuracy, experience and ability with the short stick are key around Colonial. Wise to stick to backing players like Toms, Gay, Z. Johnson etc. for trading purposes in the main but Jason Day is a big fav for me this week on his home course. Other locals include Palmer and Campbell.

In Madeira, conditions must be tough with a lot of the field seriously struggling already on what was an easy course last year. Outstanding favourite in my book James Morrison is still trading around 20's on Betfair (yet to tee off). Watch out for Julien Guerrier at about 140 on Betfair.

I'll mainly be leaving the matchplay alone.

    Ah no hindsight is wonderful.

    Yep nice result last week.

Just hope this event gets the green light tomorrow. Due back to play in an hour or so. More severe weather (thunderstorms) predicted for tomorrow. If they do get underway for the final round tomorrow, the winds are are gonna blow so everyone in with a chance now it seems. Appleby thrives in those conditions. He has won 8 times when entering the final round within 5 of the lead. Worth an investment at 25/1 ;)

Well it was a fantastic investment until the 11th hole.

His round today sums up golf perfectly, one of the reasons why I adore the game. At any time, one shot can change a player's season around, hence why we see players return to form after seemingly being off the radar.

One shot turned Appleby from perfection to disaster. His 3rd on 11 was played poorly and subsequently he missed the birdie chance. Having drove the ball to perfection on 11, he made a rick of the drive on 12. Next 3 holes (after 11) bogey - bogey - triple bogey :D

He had only one bogey in the previous 47 holes. Gotta love golf :pac:
