Netbook wireless problem

    Hi,

I picked up a cheap Samsung 145 netbook for the kids to mess with online. The net works fine once you put the Ethernet cable into it but it isnt picking up and wireless connections.

When i click on the network button in the taskbar it just says no ethernet cable detected. The wireless light is on and i updated the Wireless LAN.Broadcom driver of samsungs site but still nothing.,

When i went into the device manager there is a yellow sign with an exclamation point on the network controller.

Any suggestions on how to get the wifi going???

    Windows 7 is on it.

    Thanks.
