Mobile Mechanic Dublin?

I've had a look at the charter, and can't see anything that would suggest I can't post this, so hope it's not against the rules.
Just looking for a recommendation really...

Got into my car last night and realised I'd stupidly left the overhead light on. Tried starting my car, but not a whimper out of it.
Managed to get a jump start, and now have a charge in the battery, but the car will only start if I rev it as soon as I start the engine, and will die the second I take my foot off the accelerator.
I had driven on some pretty woeful country lanes the day before, and depsite driving slowly, my car (a fiat punto) was rocking all over the place, so I'm hoping it's something as simple as I've knocked something loose.
(Truth be told, as well as needing fixing, it could probably do with a service).

Thing is, it's sat in my parking spot in my underground car park, and I can't move it/ a tow truck won't fit in the car park to get it out, so I'm thinking that a mobile mechanic might be my best bet.

So, my question - has anyone used a mobile mechanic in the Dublin area that they would recommend?
I did a quick search, and while I found some threads asking the same thing, none of them actually had responses in them.
Found this place through google http://www.automec.ie/ anyone used them?

    Thanks in advance.

Am getting my car serviced by a mobile mechanic based out of celbridge, nice guy & reasonable prices, he's on boards as AzureAuto so you could try messaging him to see if he can help...

    Hi

I've used http://www.mobileautoservice.ie/ before - always found them very good, typically I got them to call to my work car park during the day.

OP yes I have used Automec (Donal) several times and I have no hesitation in recommending him. I get him to do my regular servicing as well as the odd bigger job.

The best bit for me is avoiding the hassle of dropping your car to the garage, courtesy car, etc etc.

And I had one breakdown (thankfully) outside my front door where Automec replaced the starter motor. Jeez that was super - no tow truck needed.

    Cheers for the replies.
Got Donal from Automec out today and he had it sorted within 10mins. Great service. Going to get him to do a full car service for me too.
Very handy that he comes out to you, as you said deandean.
So yes, would recommend him now (just incase anyone else searches and finds this thread :) )

Hey all... Found you guys recommending Donal from Automec so had him out to service my car 2 weeks ago.. Seemed great at the time apart from trying to charge €80 to change a headlight bulb!!
Then yesterday, not 2 weeks since he checked over my car, the timing chain went! Opel mechanic wreckons any good mechanic should have spotted and recommended it be sorted ASAP... Felt like the thought I was lying when I said it had only been 2 weeks since I had the car serviced... Just letting people know my experience with Donal from Automec...

Unless the chain was very noisy, which you would have noticed yourself, then there is nothing that can be 'checked' regarding the chain as its sealed within the engine.

I would be more worried about the €80 to change a bulb
