    Hi guys.

Just wondering as I'm trying to open a little business from my own place. It's going to be website based on one and this is the issue I'm being stuck on for couple weeks now as this is going to be advertisements business and i need to be sure. Right so... If my website operates in Ireland, but servers and hosting is in different country which regulations apply for it? Will try to give you an example.

My website is going to be built in here, but my servers and hosting are currently in Poland (it's cheaper and hosting is brilliant). There are different regulations if it comes to advertising smokes and alcohol and i am not sure which ones apply to me. Does it depend on where my servers and hosting are or where my website operates?

    Your help would be appreciated.

The safest and simplest option, if it doesn't conflict with your business goals, is to comply with both sets of laws.

If your business relies on something which is legal here and not in Poland (or vice versa) then you need real legal advice which isn't available here.
