I've been trying to contact Crossans to enquire about tyres for about a week now.
The two phone numbers on thier site don't appear to work. One is permanantly engaged, and the other is unobtainable.
Anyone have a valid contact number for them?
    Thanks.

I got these numbers from BT phonebook:

    (028) 3085 0911
    (028) 3085 0257

Calling NI from the here you should replace the 028 prefix with 048, see here for an explanation of the 048 prefix instead of the 0044 prefix.

    So try either

    (048) 3085 0911
    (048) 3085 0257

    Hope these work for you.

0844 873 2830 and 028 30850911 are the two numbers I got from thier site.
The first one is engaged and the second is unobtainable.
Thanks for the info on the prefix changes. I'll try them again tomorrow.

    Job's a good 'un, RosieJoe.
Got through on the above highlighted number, and once again they have beaten every other price I have obtained :D:D (even online prices).

    Many thanks

Did they even beat Simon Cotters? Find that hard to believe!

No problem, but bear in mind that I've been told that my tyres are 'strange sizes' - whatever that means..

Rear is 150/90 15, and the front is 100/90 19.

One bike shop quoted me 250 for a set of Metzlers, and told me that Bridgestone don't do those sizes.
I didn't try Dunlops. I've had them in the past and hated the way they run in the wet.:(

I'm running Avon Venom X's at the moment, and have done for years on the bike. And they handle superbly in all conditions, and I'm getting around 30,000 km from a set, (yes, 30,000 km is correct) so I am leaning towards Avons again.

One online shop quoted me 94 for the front and 127.50 for the rear - total 221.50
Another quoted 119 for the rear and 94.50 for the front - total 213.50.
Crossans quoted 69 for the front and 97 for the rear - total 166. :)

Somehow, I don't think I'm going to get any better than 166. Do You?;)

With those size, it must be a cruiser, yes......? Or a Serrow/VanVan ?

    And no, I don't think you'll better 166 either !

I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
