12 Months Continuous JSA Required for Revenue Job Assist Tax Credit

Does anyone know what the situation is with this tax credit? What happens if one has 10 months signing on and then goes away for a month (holiday/in search of work etc) and then comes back and remains signing on for a further 2 months.

Although the tax credit requires 12 continuos months would a gap where you are not working interupt this? No holidays remaining so there will be no payment back-dated for the month away. Would you still qualify for the tax credit? Curious as there are benefits for the employee and employer

    Thanks in advance
