Stupid question, but is it 1-0 on aggeragate? I don't know if it was 1-0 to Reading in the previous match and 1-0 now therefore 2-0 up. Its confusing me altogether :D

    First leg finished 0-0,

    so it's 1-0 on Agg,

    away goals don't count.

Am I right in thinking if Cardiff or Swansea were promoted they'd be the first welsh team to play in the prem?

Well under its current name then yes, however since football has a long history both Cardiff and Swansea have been in the top division before

I'd say if Cardiff had won they would have politely asked for the match to go to Wales.

So disappointed, freak goal and a peno and then could just never come back from there, missed Bellers big time.

They probably would, but it wouldn't have happened because it would be far too sensible and would cause The FA to miss out on revenue that they need to pay for their overpriced stadium.

With my Ireland hat fully on, really hope Reading go up!

Shane Long in the Premier League is just what we need IMO. A Few other Irish players at Reading too

Yeah be good for Long to go up but think regardless of whether Reading get promoted he will be in the premier league next season. His pace to turn defenders was brilliant last night and now he is playing week in week out looks a top player. Hunt had a good game last night as well and they work very well together.

After seeing how well Long played last night and his form in general all season I'm not concerned that Doyle is missing the Macedonia game. In fact I'd prefer to see Long start even if Doyle was fit. Long's confidence must be sky high at the moment! Fair play to him. Great player and seems like an honest lad!

    A Cardiff City implosion, there's a first!

Delighted for Reading, came through as predicted and were so clinical in their finishing. I would still fancy Swansea to win the final. They have that bit of extra guile in midfield. I dont think Reading have anyone to match Nathan Dyer and Scott Sinclair. Jobi McAnuff is the best midfielder for Reading but i dont rate him as highly as the two Swansea lads.

Of course its not sensible. Wembley is the national stadium.

Play off and other final venues aren't determined by the geographic location of the two teams involved. Just because there was the possiblilty of two Welsh teams being there, the policy shouldn't have been any different. I doubt there would even have been a suggestion put forward.
