    Spotlight to-night will be about the Manx-2 crash at Cork in feburary. The programme is on BBC1 at 10.40.

    It was an intersting programme. Seems to have been a fairly unreliable company that manx2 were hiring their aircraft from. However, I shall reserve judgment until the investigation is complete and all the facts are known.

    It was fairly interesting, most of what was said would have been known to people on boards like this but to the general public it would have been a shock. The main thing that came out of the programme for me was the fact the co-pilot (pilot flying) had only 17 hrs logged on this aircraft. Why the cpt did'nt take over is unbelieveable.

    The FO only having 16hrs on type was shocking I,m open to correction on this but from memory after one of my mates completed the TR with FR while doing his line training he did over 20 sectors or more before getting released by the safety pilot.

    what bowls me over is the F/O was the handling pilot in a low vis approach re 16 hrs on type
