ESB Customer Supply

    I have to get some work done around my meter, which the ESB have to come3 and do. My electrician has already sent them the detail.

    Before the work is done I have to pay €161 to the ESB. Unfortunately they only accept cheques. They won't take cash, laser or credit card over the phone. I also can't pay them from my bank account the same way as I pay my ESB bill as it's a seperate company.

    Unfortunately I don't have a chequebook, and due to work hours getting a postal order or bank draft is a pain in the rear; I'm 6 months trying to get this job done and it's held up by my inability to pay by cheque!

    Are there any alternatives available?
