I assume you've been to see your GP first?

I did, it was for a related issue and asked could the two be in fact related but he addressed the first problem through a consultant but nothing about the sleep issues. Ideally I would be intrested in visiting a GP that had specific experience in relation to sleep disorders or speaking with a 1st line specifalist in any clinics anyone would be aware of. Seems like there are a few but only located in or around the Dublin region.

My sister in law was referred by her GP to Dr Aidan O'Brien, a respiratory specialist based in Limerick accross from the crescent shopping centre. She was then sent to mullingar, st Francis hospital, for a sleep study - where she was monitored and eventually treated with a cpap machine (spelling) for sleep apnea.

Best get that referral from your GP first!

    Hope this helps.
