I was wondering if anybody has gone WOOFING (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) and what their experiences were?

Would it be possible to just go for two weeks or so? Ideally I want to work in the grape harvest but I can't commit for more than 2 weeks :(

Any general advice or ideas would be great!

Yeah WOOFING can be really great. Have done it a few different places. You can get to learn new skills, not spend to much and live in local communities etc... A great way to travel.

A lot of it really depends on what sort of a place you end up going and staying though, they're can be quite a variation.

I'd recommend you check out the website www.helpx.net
It's like woofing only a lot better imo. It's not limited to organic farms and it covers the whole world as opposed to a lot of woofing organizations which are just local based. It's also got reviews of the places by people who have gone before, and that's really useful.
