Dominick Street Closed?

    Does anybody have any info on why Dominick Street was closed off this morning by the Galway Arms Inn and when it might be opened again please?

    They're putting in sewage pipes to connect up parts of the area to the main city system. there was an article in the sentinel a few weeks back, won't be open till the end of June.

    It'll be closed for the next 7 weeks, council is fixing the sewage system. http://www.galwaynews.ie/18957-traffic-chaos-fears-street-close-seven-weeks

    Thanks guys...sucks to be me! I drive that way to work. Now I've got either the nightmare of Newcastle Road or Fr. Griffin I guess.
