    Folks,

I am having trouble getting through to Sony on the phone :(
Basically, I have 2 PS3's in the house that we share between 3 of us. Now my main issue is one of them has been replaced 4 times already so now all 5 of my systems ares taken up so if I get on the other machine in the house I cant use my profile/downloads when I want to play them.

Will sony actually remove those old systems for me or what can i do??

Farely sure they can deactivate the previous consoles but they might need some sort of ref number to know which ones there are, that might have to be confirmed though

They deactivate all your PS3s for the PSN account and then you need to activate them yourself. With all the PSN stuff being down you'll have a long wait before getting on to them.

They will say they can't deactivate them (mainly because most people were game sharing and ran up 5 accounts then ended up getting locked out of their own machine).

But if you have ref numbers and receipts for the broken ones. Especially if you sent it back to Sony rather than the shop they can reset your accounts.

If you already have your accounts on the 2 PS3's then it will work fine. If you deactivate your Account on one it takes 7 days to be able to reactivate. Its to stop people already on 5 machines from deactivating giving their account to someone else and then reactivating their own one.

Well i got in touch with them and they said no can do. THey said there is no way possible that 4 machines have died since launch and that i will just have to live with it.
