    Hey OP
It is not likely that you would have 160gb used space after a clean install. My suspicion is a corrupt user profile - this would result in a new profile created and new desktop items and shortcuts and documents folder etc - usually the corrupt profile's files are still there though.
The fact the the 160gb space is still occupied means something is taking up the space.
A virus will not delete files in that manner.
Do a search for file names or files types i.e. *.jpg will find all .jpg files. Search all locations, not just indexed locations.
A chkdsk /r/f might repair profile corruption, no harm to run it anyway from an admin command prompt.
    Hope this helps
    Good luck

You wouldn't believe it...he logged into his admin account by mistake. It was only when you mentioned User profile that it hit me, I said to myself "Naa, couldn't be that simple", but it was.

    Talk about wasting time.:(

    Thanks ArtyM.
