Video Conversion Problems.

Im trying to convert videos from the .mtv format to something compatible with windows movie maker. Ive tried "Any Video Converter" which i downloaded for free but i have problems with the converting. When i convert to; .wmv the video plays too fast .asf it plays too slow .mpg or .avi there is no visual, just audio. Any…

Im trying to convert videos from the .mtv format to something compatible with windows movie maker. Ive tried "Any Video Converter" which i downloaded for free but i have problems with the converting.

When i convert to;
.wmv the video plays too fast
.asf it plays too slow
.mpg or .avi there is no visual, just audio.

Any ideas why this happens or how i can stop it? Or maybe oyu can suggest a better free video converter?

Sounds like your not checking the setting for the different formats. Make sure the frame rate matches your source frame rate.
