Getting UPC HD - how do I send analog signal to other dvd recorder?

Getting UPC HD box delivered tomorrow. Currently have the old UPC digital box and have signal going in to "RF in" and then "RF out" to my dvd recorder. I've heard that the HD box doesn't have RF out - so how do I continue to send the (analog) signal to my dvd recorder or another tele? Can I split the cable before it goes…

splitting the cable before it goes into the box will only give you the 15 or so analog channels.
